Nestled in Dairy Flat, Auckland, you’ll find Desert Creek Ltd, home to one of the biggest online sellers of Succulents, Cacti, and New Zealand Native plants.

Desert Creek Ltd was founded in 2022 by Aaron (Son) and Gary (Father) as a family business. With horticulture as massive passion we decided to create our dream and own a plant nursery.
What We Do
From the beginning we started growing succulents and cacti due to their unique shapes and flowers. As the business grew, we decided to incorporate New Zealand Natives that also can deal with draught and sunny locations.
Desert Creek developed its name because we sell only plants that naturally grown in dry and arid places from around the world. Succulents and Cacti have unique water holding properties which allows the plants to survive draught.
Our Mission
To bring life to the garden and protect the balance of nature by offering easy to grow, draught tolerant plants.
Our family goal is to restore some land in New Zealand creating a sustainable living resort for everyone to enjoy.

- Saving Water - Rain harvested and stored in large tanks.
- Natural Pest Management - We use and sell organic and effective pesticides. Chemical free.
- Organic Fertilizers - Natural plant food rich in nutrients to boost healthy growth.
- Weed Control - We reduce the growth of weeds and conserve soil moisture by covering the soil with coconut coir.
- Reduce Waste - All plants come inside a biodegradable peat pots so we're able to reuse the nusery pots.
- Biodegradable Packaging - Carefully packaged in cardboard boxes securely contained with Kraft tape. Plastic free.
- Sustainable Products - Majority of our products are locally sourced and made from natural resources.
- Promote Biodiversity - Support of local native plants, soil conditioning, and increasing animal life ecosystems.
