CLAY BALLS  - Eco Box (10L & 20L)

Clay pebbles, also known as hydroton or expanded clay, are small, round balls made from clay that have been heated and expanded.
These lightweight pebbles are commonly used as a growing medium in hydroponic systems, allowing for excellent drainage, aeration, and root growth.
They are reusable, pH neutral, and provide stability for plants.

ECO BOX

Introducing our new eco box - a sustainable solution for gardening enthusiasts! This innovative product incorporates 100% biodegradable materials, ensuring minimal impact on the environment.

The soil mediums are firstly packaged in a plant-based bag, which decomposes naturally overtime and placed in recyclable cardboard box, further reducing its environmental footprint.

Let's embrace sustainable practices together and make a positive difference!

*Please note: The nature of fully compostable materials means that they will naturally degrade over time. To ensure full product performance, please avoid bags from moisture, high temperatures, sunlight, and store in a cool dry place.

APPLICATION

To use clay pebbles, first soak them in water for a few hours to remove any dust or debris. Then, place a layer of pebbles at the bottom of the plant pot to improve drainage.

Plant your desired plant into the pot, ensuring the roots are in contact with the clay pebbles. Water as usual, allowing excess water to drain out.

You can also mix the clay balls with your potting mix to get superior drainage specific for certain plants.

BENEFITS

  • Excellent drainage: Clay pebbles have a porous structure that promotes optimal drainage, preventing waterlogged roots and facilitating nutrient absorption.
  • pH stability: These pebbles maintain a neutral pH level, ensuring a stable and suitable environment for plant growth.
  • Lightweight: The lightweight nature of clay pebbles makes them easy to handle and transport.
  • Reusable: Clay pebbles can be sterilised and reused in subsequent crops, making them a cost-effective option.
  • Improved aeration: Their porous structure allows for increased airflow around the roots, promoting healthy root development and preventing root rot.
  • Pest prevention: Clay pebbles discourage the growth of harmful pests and pathogens, reducing the risk of plant diseases.
  • Stable structure: These pebbles do not compact or break down easily, providing stable support for plants, especially those that require strong root anchoring.
  • Environmentally friendly: Clay pebbles are made from natural clay, a sustainable and eco-friendly material that can be sourced locally.
